When Annie headed to the 1893 World’s Fair to gain investors for the vehicle created by her late husband and the absent-minded Silas Crocket, she had no idea of the trouble switched luggage would cause. She had no idea that her faith would be tested or that Silas’ nephew would make inroads in a heart she still preserved for her late husband. When everything they’ve worked for is threatened along with her life, Annie must come to terms with her grief, her hopes, her faith…and her heart.

This first in a trilogy, promises stories of hope and faith and the sweet romance that sets Barbour books apart. This was a fun read with an unexpected mystery along with the romance that kept me reading until the last page. I look forward to the other books in the series.
