Think You’ve Had a Bad Day?Lessons on Why Today Is Your Best Day
Uhrichsville, OH—You woke up late, your preschooler declared war, and your microwave went on the fritz. And if that wasn’t enough, the dog decided your newly planted flowerbeds made for good digging. Bad day? It doesn’t have to be. In fact, according to best-selling author Roy Lessin, if you have the right perspective, every day is actually your best day.
“If you are in Jesus Christ and your heart is committed to God’s plan for your life, it means that today is your best day,” writes Lessin in Today Is Your Best Day (Barbour Publishing, September 2006).
Featuring sixty inspirational readings, Today Is Your Best Day encourages readers to see life from faith’s point of view and discover each day as an opportunity to grow in grace, walk in love, and draw closer to God’s heart. Whether dealing with the everyday mishaps of life or suffering from some of life’s most difficult circumstances, Lessin shows readers that today is their best day. Why? For several reasons:
§ Because of God’s Wisdom.
§ Because of God’s Plan.
§ Because of the Holy Spirit.
§ Because of the Will of God.
§ Because of Motivation.
§ Because of Heaven.
“Today is your best day because God was willing to pay the price of the death of His Son to redeem you as His own,” writes Lessin. “God has redeemed you, not to set you aside, ignore you, or let you get dusty on a shelf. He has redeemed you because He loves you, cares about you, treasures you, and has a plan and purpose for your life.”
