Now Merrick will have to decide how to keep Charlisse safe, find her father and keep Charlisse from hating him for bringing her father to justice. Is it possible for a pirate who’s found God and forgiveness to now find love? Will Charlisse find what she’s looking for in an unexpected place? Can the power of God rescue two people when evil surrounds them?

THE REDEMPTION is book one in M. L. Tyndall’s Legacy of the King’s Pirates series. This is an interesting read with a new twist to the stories of pirates. Fans of the Pirates of the Caribbean will certainly find this read intriguing. The story does have a message of faith woven within it, but that only adds to this wonderful tale. The characters are well written and quickly pull you into the story. Putting down this story provided hard as I wanted to know what Charlisse and Merrick would face next and how they would handle it. There is romance, suspense, action, history, as well as the inspirational touches and just a tad of supernatural in the power God can show to protect his children. THE REDEMPTION has a little something for everyone. I highly recommend this thrilling ride on the high seas of the Caribbean. Now I just have to wait for book two in this new and exhilarating series about pirates, romance, faith and adventure.
