News, Press & Reviews

When I was little I loved a Bible in comic book format that brought the Word of God to life. THE COMIC BOOK BIBLE has the potential to do the same for young readers. The illustrations are colorful and each chapter/story is tied with am appropriate Bible Verse. This was a huge endeavor and as any work of this size, sometimes little things creep in, mistakes not caught in the editing process that parents should be aware of when buying this book.

Pg. 61. In the Samson story it shows Samson pulling down the temple with his head still shaved. However, by the time that happened, his hair had grown back and God's favor once more rested upon him.

Pg 203-205. A bit confusing about who and how many disciples betrayed Jesus.

A couple of others places have been edited down to shade the story differently than scripture might have intended. Still, this is a valuable resource for parents in sharing Biblical stories, message and context. As they become acquainted with Scripture, parents can more easily move them on to a regular Bible. A good book to share at night before bed.
