Louise Tucker JonesLOUISE TUCKER JONES is a freelance writer, award winning author, and inspiring speaker on the Christian circuit. A lifetime "Okie," she grew up on a farm and now resides in Edmond, Oklahoma with her husband, Carl, and son, Jay, the youngest of their four children. Louise is the author of the Heartsong Presents novel, "Dance From the Heart," and co-author of the non-fiction book, "Extraordinary Kids," which received the Gold Medallion Book Award. Her articles have appeared in magazines such as Guideposts, Angels On Earth, Focus On The Family and Special Education Today. She has appeared on numerous radio and TV programs, including Dr. Robert Schuller's, "The Hour Of Power." Being the proud mother of a son with Down syndrome, Louise is also a strong advocate for people with disabilities. She often writes and speaks about the gifts and talents God has given to people who are developmentally disabled. Even her fiction is intertwined with challenged individuals. She and her husband founded the special ministry program at their church and Louise is involved in several organizations for people with special needs. Louise is a professed "chocoholic" and is well known for her "Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies," "Fudgy Brownies," and her mother's family recipe for "Chocolate Gravy."
